News out of Richfield, C3 All-Stars beat C3 All-Stars 9–4

A huge crowd, even for AHA standards, headed to Richfield to catch the “Unofficial” C3 All-Star festivities, presented by the Les Étoiles Du Nord. While the game was a bit lopsided, even for AHA standards, it was a good game, with plenty of offensive action. The All-Stars Dark ended up with a 9–4 victory, and outshot the All-Stars White 41–25, which included a penalty shot (attempt) in place a place of a two-minute minor.
The C3 All-Star game was organized by the Les Étoiles Du Nord, with two teams put together from the three C3 divisions, with 34 players voted in by the C3 teams.
As previously announced, the lone pick from Spiders was Eric Grotbeck! Grotbeck, in his sixth year with the Spiders, and fifth as alternate captain, led the Spiders this season in points with 18, and co-led with nine goals.
