Game off ... again

For the second time this year, the AHA has postponed all games due to the COVID-19/coronavirus situation. That once again means no Spider hockey for the time being. This weekend’s game vs. the Arctic Wolves will be rescheduled. And if all goes as announced, the Spiders will look to safely return to the ice after the new year when the season resumes.

As posted on the AHA site:

Winter League Season 1 Pause

Nov. 19, 2020

Minnesota Governor Walz announced new restrictions yesterday to slow the spread of COVID-19. The order indicates that all adult sports activities are on pause during the four weeks from Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020, to Friday, Dec. 18, 2020.

Winter League games scheduled for tonight (Nov. 19) and Friday (Nov. 20) will be played as scheduled. Games scheduled on and between Nov. 21 and Dec. 18 will be postponed and scheduled for a later date.

While we are all disappointed with this, we hope you and your families all stay safe. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the ice next month.
