Preliminary playoff information announced by AHA

The AHA has announced preliminary post-season information.

In a change from previous years, games will be spread across two weekends. The schedule will start Saturday, April 2, and wrap up on Sunday, April 10. Semi-finals and the championship will still be Saturday evening and Sunday, respectively.

Also new this year, to be eligible for the playoffs, each player must have played five games during the regular season.

D1 playoff pools will be:

• Pool A: East #1, North #2, West #3, East #4
• Pool B: North #1, West #2, East #3, North #4
• Pool C: West #1, East #2, North #3, West #4
