The Spiders lost their second game of the season to Royals 10–1. The lone Spiders goal was by Captain Carlos Eberhardt, with assists by Alternate Captain Bobby Jensen and Doug Thorson.
This week’s game also saw the Spiders’ debut in the penalty box, with three Spiders — Alternate Captain Marc Berris, Mike Montgomery and Doug Thorson — all getting called for tripping. They were all innocent, however.
