In an action-packed game, the Spiders had one of their best games all year. It was fast-moving with lots of scoring opportunities. They win 6-2 and out shoot the Diablos 41-26.
The scoring started in the first with goals from Bortnem from Tromiczak. Next was Tromiczak from C. Stalpes and Butalla. That ended the first with a 2-0 Spider lead. The scoring would not stop there as the Spiders notched 4 more goals for a final of 6-2. The difference was important as it could matter in a tie breaker.
The rest of the Spider goals went as follow:
- Thorson from Maietta
- Maietta from Delsing and Chris Stalpes
- Delsing from Gustafson
- And Tim Stalpes all alone.
Dow played a nice game as well winning the coveted Academy award for Goal-pretending.
