Spiders offense arrives in 6-6 tie with Les Etoiles du Nord

After scoring a total of only 6 goals in their first three games, the Spiders exploded for 6 in a 6-all tie with the Les Etoiles du Nord.

The game went back-and-forth with the Spiders taking the lead three times through the first two periods before LEdN twice took the lead in the third. Jeff Jackson was the hero for the Spiders. With Brian Dow pulled for the extra attacker, Jackson tipped a shot from the point past the LEdN goalie. The OT period was scorelss and the Spiders earned their first point of the season.

Matt Adelmann led the way with four points (1 G, 3 A) with Jeff Jackson (2 G, 1 A), Jason Yancey (2 A), and Doug Hopperstad (1 G, 1 A) all earning multiple points. Brian Dow made 30 saves.

The tie moves the Spiders to 0-3-1 on the season. Next up are the Gators on Sunday, November 25th.
