Tables turned, Spiders shut out on Hockey Day Minnesota

LED Nord maintain their streak against the Spiders, going 5-zip.

The Spiders’ streak of back-to-back shutouts continued, but not quite the way the Spiders’ imagined it. Instead, the LED Nord blanked the Spiders 5–0.

Shots were surprisingly even, at 28. But the Spiders of course won in the PIM column, and came up way short in the goals column.

The loss knocks the Spiders back from their playoff perch, with a lock on sixth, and a point out of the fourth-place post-season cutoff.
