Spiders get a win, defeat Nighthawks 7–4

The Spiders got their first win of the season tonight against the Nighthawks! The final score was 7–4. Defenseman Doug Thorson got a hat trick, Bruce Gustafson, who switched over to left wing this week, got three assists, and Center Dave Schliesman got the Spiders’ first goal of the night, shorthanded. Goalkeeper Jeff Keacher stopped 32 of 36 shots. The game was also the 2005–06 season debut for Tim Johanson and team sub Brad Caron.
